On June 15, 2023, Trooper Ben of KHP Troop C thanked the Kansas agricultural community for their work on Facebook.

Trooper Ben writes:

Grain harvester in Kansas …

As I drove through our state today, I saw all of you working hard, bringing your precious crops from the fields to the local cooperatives. Seeing your trucks lined up and moving reminded me once again how important your work is.

I saw the pride in your eyes and the determination in your faces as you drove along the country roads and highways. Your dedication really stood out to me.

This is not just a job; it is part of our community and our way of life.

As law enforcement officers, I want to thank you for your hard work and perseverance. You play a key role in ensuring our crops reach their destination safely and efficiently. Although it sometimes goes unnoticed, your efforts are truly appreciated.

I wish I could stop and thank each of you personally for the many hours and sacrifices you make. You show us all the strength and resilience of the Kansas spirit. Your dedication is inspiring and leaves a lasting impression.

Their work is the backbone of our agricultural community and is a testament to the hardworking people of Kansas, from farmers to the families who depend on this vital industry.

Thank you for what you do for our community. Stay safe on the roads and rest assured your hard work does not go unnoticed.

Be sure,

Soldier Ben
