Prosecutors leading the case against the suspected serial killer detailed a “planning document” found in Heuermann’s Massapequa Park home.

According to the New York TimesThe manual, described as Heuermann's “planning document” and “blueprint for the murder,” was discovered on a computer hard drive that investigators seized from the basement shortly after the suspected serial killer was arrested in July 2023.

Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond Tierney told the Times that the murder methods described in the sensational document were “horrifyingly detailed” and consistent with the way Heuermann allegedly murdered his six victims.

Tierney also claimed that the document shows that Heuermann's “intent was specifically to locate these victims, hunt them down, control them, and kill them.”

Also surprising was the revelation that the “murder plan” discovered on Heuermann’s computer last summer could prove to be crucial evidence in convicting the suspect.

“This document is a killer,” Keahon told the Times“This is better than a written or even videotaped confession, because with it any good lawyer can create doubt during cross-examination.”

“But how can you cross-examine a document that he himself created on his computer?” Keahon added.

Heuermann’s defense attorney, Michael Brownrejected the document containing the “blueprint for the murder” that was found on his client’s computer shortly after his arrest last summer.

Brown reportedly questioned the document's authorship. He also suggested that prosecutors may have taken the document out of context and argued that the document was “inconsistent with the original theory” prosecutors had put forward regarding Heuermann's first four alleged victims.

A criminologist and expert on serial killers named Scott Bonn argued that the document was “fully in line with [Heuermann’s] personality type.”

Bonn argued that Heuermann, as an architect, had “a blueprint for a murder” just as he “designed a blueprint for a building”.

Heuermann was arrested in July 2023 and charged with the murder of three women. In January of this year, he was charged with the murder of a fourth woman.

“This is entirely in keeping with his personality type,” explained the serial killer expert. “He is an extremely careful, organized and intelligent person who doesn't leave any detail unnoticed.”

“For him, it's all about the planning and the details,” Bonn continued. “As an architect, he is very meticulous about the details in his work and in his murders. Just as he had a blueprint for a building, he also had a blueprint for a murder.”

As RadarOnline.com As previously reported, Heuermann was arrested in July 2023 and charged with the murder of three women. He was then calculated with the murder of a fourth woman in January this year.

A jump to the beginning of this month: Heuermann was two new charges in connection with the murder of 28-year-old Sandra Costilla in 1993 and the murder of 20-year-old Jessica Taylor in 2003.
