Unusual unicycle spotted on the street in Hyderabad

The video shows a road in Hyderabad that is moderately busy and has a decent amount of vehicular traffic. A few cars and bikes were seen riding on the road next to a unicycle. Since it is unusual to see a unicycle, people caught the incident on camera and posted it on social media.

Although cycling seems easier, riding a unicycle is no child's play. It is a challenge for the rider to keep his balance and master it like a pro. And the man spotted in Hyderabad did it well.

The unicyclist was seen maintaining his stability while riding. He made slight inclines and turns, but his riding skills were good. Instead of indicators, which are installed behind fuel-powered vehicles, the man had to give direction signals himself. The video showed him riding carefully in one lane and then showing the right-hand sign to indicate a turn.

Internet impressed, but concern about risk factor on India's roads

People were impressed by the video showing something rare appearing on their streets, with interested internet users asking in comments where they could buy a unicycle.

The video was posted online at the beginning of June and has already received over 400,000 likes on Instagram.

While some considered this risky on local roads that can be full of potholes and speed bumps, saying, “This is unsafe on Indian roads,” others shouted “Woahhhh” while cheering the unicyclist for his perfect ride in traffic. “He has to be commended, he didn't give up in heavy traffic,” netizens wrote in response to the viral video.
