Police take Tommie Lee into custody again

She was arrested over 30 times.

Tommy Lee doesn't want to stay out of trouble with the law. Love & Hip Hop Alumna, whose real name is Atasha Jefferson, was arrested on assault charges in Miami Beach after police officers responded to a disturbance at a popular nightclub, NBC 6 South Florida reports. She was arrested at Club LIV just after 2 a.m., the arrest report states. Lee reportedly approached a man and tried to give him something. When he refused her offer, she allegedly became aggressive, cursed and threatened to have him killed, the arrest report states.

The victim seemingly ignored her, but Lee became increasingly aggressive. The report notes that she waved her hands and eventually punched the victim in the face. He held her until police arrived to protect himself from further physical harm. Surveillance footage shows Lee shoving the victim. A witness also reported the incident. Lee, 39, was taken into custody.

Lee has had trouble with the law before. In 2018, she was reportedly arrested twice within 24 hours, the first time for alleged assault and child abuse. The following day, she was arrested again for contacting her daughter despite a legal ban.

During her first arrest, she was charged with assault, aggravated assault and child abuse after she “dumped her ass” on one of her daughters at the middle school, according to Georgia police. She was released on $27,000 bail and given a court order to stay away from the daughter, which she did not comply with. During the second arrest, when officers arrived, Lee allegedly refused to come out. She tried to hide in her attic, police said.

The mother of two has been arrested over 30 times. Her often unpredictable behavior has been the subject of reality TV and social media. Most recently, she became embroiled in a social media war with fellow reality star and singer Tamar Braxton.
