North Texas fire chief among 14 men arrested in prostitution raid, authorities say

DENTON COUNTY, Texas – Fourteen men, including a North Texas fire chief, are behind bars on prostitution charges, according to a news release from the Denton County Sheriff’s Office.

Denton County officials executed a search warrant in Lewisville, Texas on Thursday.

According to authorities, 14 men were arrested and charged with soliciting prostitution, a crime punishable by prison time.

Among the 14 men charged and arrested was Highland Village Fire Chief Jason Collier, authorities said.

The sheriff's office said Collier will be charged with solicitation of prostitution and resisting arrest. Collier has been with the Highland Village Fire Department since 2008, FOX 4 reported.

The 14 men arrested were:

  • Michael Allman from Lewisville, Texas

  • Bryson Brown from Salisbury, North Carolina

  • Robert Busch from Denton, Texas

  • Kashyapsinh Chauhan from Arlington, Texas

  • Jason Collier from Corinth, Texas

  • Ricky Davis from Carrollton, Texas

  • Donald Ray Ford Jr. of Frisco, Texas

  • James Hiatt of Lewisville, Texas

  • James Arthur Jackson Jr. of Lewisville, Texas

  • Jakari Johnson from Lewisville, Texas

  • Victor Matute from Denton, Texas

  • Demetrio Santiago from Whitesboro, Texas

  • Javier Trinadad from Lewisville, Texas

  • Abin Varghese from Carrollton, Texas
