Se_Ku Pro-Tech are padded injury protection shorts and leggings specifically made for the Figure Skating sport. They use a high performance Polyester and Lycra fabric outer shell that is warm and durable along with D30 to protect the hips and tail bone areas. The superior performance of Se_Ku Pro-Tech Wear is a direct result of its exclusive use of D3O Impact Protection Technology. Superficially resembling foam rubber, the D3O pads are soft and flexible in their natural state, but instantly rigid when struck by an outside force such as occurs when the wearer falls on ice. The molecules in the pads change from free-flowing to 'locking on impact', and then go immediately back their soft and flexible state. This is the major difference from any other pads available on the market. All other pads merely deaden the impact to the part of the body where a skater contacts the ice. D30 pads are SHOCK ABSORBING, meaning, they distribute the shock throughout the entire pad, which minimizes the impact to the area of the skater's body that hits the ice. Because of the high shock absorbing quality of the pads, they can be very thin and discrete building confidence and providing superior injury prevention. Skaters feel like they bounce off the ice when they fall.
