Pharmacist/Owner Curtis Omelchuck and his pharmacy team opened their new 2500 sq. feet pharmacy earlier in December of 2012. The pharmacy is located at a very high traffic intersection in beautiful Vernon, British Columbia. With the new addition of Sterling Centre Remedy’sRx, the building has 5 GPs and 4 specialists making it a centre for patient health care. They have a treatment room for injections and a private patient counseling room for medication consultations. Curtis offers a full service pharmacy along with specialized services including: compounding, vaccinations, diabetic supplies and breast pump supplies and rentals.
Curtis graduated from UBC School of Pharmacy in 1996 and has had the opportunity to work in both corporate and independent environments but has always found himself gravitating towards becoming an Independent Pharmacy owner. He believes that independent pharmacy offers the freedom to run your own business the way you see fit and allows pharmacists to offer premium services such as hosting clinic days and vaccinations.
Their mission is to make the pharmacy the destination for patient health care needs, health care solutions and medication information through providing superior customer service.
